Jen Hamilton (b. Toronto, Ontario) is a visual artist living and working in London, Ontario. An award-winning printmaker, her practice embraces interdisciplinary modes, spanning printmaking, painting, drawing, and sculpture. Hamilton’s work explores themes of motherhood, grief, and autobiographical collecting. Her current project examines maternal collections and the ways grief can activate and shape artmaking.

Hamilton’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, most recently in Cadaqués, Spain, and at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, CT. Her work is held in several public collections, including The City of London, the Ottawa School of Art, Paper Connection International, NSCAD University, and Fanshawe College.

She has previously served as President of Forest City Gallery and as Youth Council Coordinator at Museum London. She is currently the Community Engagement Coordinator for Print London, the city’s printmaking collective. Hamilton is a member of the Fine Art faculty at Fanshawe College, where she teaches printmaking and drawing. She holds a BFA from NSCAD University and is currently an MFA candidate at Western University.
